I am not a person who likes to watch television in the morning. But I do have a soft spot for local anchor Pat Kiernan. I think sitting down and spending a half hour staring at the idiot box is a waste of time. My time management skills are sharp! The solution is to catch the In The Papers segment on NY1. I love PK and his droll sense of humor. It’s the only time in the news broadcast when he can shed his talking head inhibition.
